Access is used only to show your mail inside Trello, send the replies you write, and create the cards you ask for — it never posts, deletes, or shares anything on its own, and you can disconnect anytime. And when an email becomes a card, it stays visible only to you: the rest of the board can't read it or even see it's attached, unless you grant specific people read or read + write access.
Yes — Email Inbox is fully two-way. Read the whole thread and send replies (with proper Gmail threading) from the reader or right from the card back. When someone replies, the card shows a “New email” badge and updates itself, so it always reflects the latest message — no re-copying. You can also archive, mark as spam, and bulk-manage your inbox without leaving Trello.
